Monarchs loses Finals

Nobody in the Kings-Organisation did expect such a clear outcome of the MRFAHL-Cup Finals. The Rochester Americans have beaten the Manchester Monarchs with 4-1 and have detroned the defending MRFAHL-Champs.

Games 1 and 2  where close ones and have been decided by only one goal and Game 1 even in Overtime. The Monarchs then tried to show a reaction and switch their Goaltenders from Tobias Stephan who was until the final unbeaten in 10 Playoff-Games to Jason Labarbera who had thus far only played twice in the postseason but was the victorious Goaltender in last years triumph.

Labarbera brought the effect the Monarchs had hoped for and brought them their 1st win in Game 3, but from that Game the series was over and Manchester lost the next two games to lose the series.

Congratulations to the Rochester Amercians for their victory in the MRFAHL Calder Cup-Finals!!
