Leafs GM Ron Dubin has been quietly fielding calls for the power forward for the past few months, and had held out until finally pulling the trigger with Calgary. Evander "Don't Call Me Patrick" Kane and Dalton "Best Name In The World" Thrower come the other way. -Speaking of Calgary, looks like Derek's Maple Leaf Boner got the best of him. After landing JVR, He went out and paid a hefty price for Joffery Lupul. GM's reportedly lined up lightning-fast to get a speedy deal done with the Panthers GM Wilson. Wilson accelerated the rumours by mentioning in a sudden post on the MRFHL message board.
