Caps continue up and down season with stretches of brilliance and disappointment 2012-02-07 After making a few trades during the good times, the caps find themselves not reaping the benefits as much as they'd like. Franzen is performing as expected. Foligno is playing 4th line minutes for now but that will change next season. We tried not to disrupt the chemistry and inserted these 2 into lines that could absorb some talent and not suffer as a result. For now we cling to the 8th spot and wouldnt be surprised if we fall out of the top 8, only to chase again going forward. We hope others are chasing us but we'll see where this team ends up.... even if we make it into the playoffs, it wont be an easy task taking out teams that are much better than us in many ways.... thats all for now folks..
