McDonagh's parting gift to the Rangers

Ryan McDonagh went beast mode in last nights game against Columbus, scores his 11th and 12th goals on the season. Ties teammate Valtteri Filppula for the league leade in points.

After the game, he was notified that he was traded to the Boston Bruins.

"The writing was on the wall. The team was clearly headed in a direction that made this a possibility. I like what we were doing in NY, both Val and I were having a lot of fun this year, but we both knew that this was a possibility.
